Jeremy gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the
University of East Anglia
in 1986 and spent the first ten years after graduating working for Serco.

He worked for various customers including DERA and
ESA,
and was responsible for greatly improving the reliability of the
interface units on the M25 Controlled Motorway Scheme. |

The next two years were spent working for CRI (now
Terma),
contracting to the
European Space Agency
at ESTEC in the Netherlands, before returning to the UK to form his own
company J.R.M.Systems Ltd. in 1998. The company name was bought by another
individual after Jeremy stopped trading under its name. |

He has been working for a global aerospace company since 2003. | |
He is a Member of the
Institution of Engineering and Technology
(IET) and a Member of the
British Computer Society
(BCS). |
|
He obtained his Radio Amateur Licence (G7BHB) in 1988. |
|
He joined the Scout Association as an assistant scout leader in 1986, and
became a venture scout leader in 1991 before leaving to work in the
Netherlands in 1996. |
|
Jeremy enjoys skiing and takes every opportunity to visit the world's ski
resorts. Occasionally he has also been known to bungee jump (JPEG 63913 bytes). |

Terry Pratchett's
books. |
